With reference to His Excellency the Governor's Despatch No 34 of the 24th April, I have the honour to report to Your Lordship that Mc Bonham left this Colony for the North on the morning of the 26th instant, on which day I assumed charges of the Government, in my capacity of Lieutenant-Governor.
